Does Libby work on the PocketBook Era Color in Canada?
Works, with extra steps
Yes, with a computer. Libby lets you download most ebooks for other e-readers as an Adobe-protected EPUB, which PocketBook opens. PocketBook also has a Libby app on newer software (6.10 and later); we haven't confirmed it with Canadian libraries yet.
- On libbyapp.com, open the loan and choose Read With, then Other Options, then EPUB.
- Install Adobe Digital Editions on a computer and sign in with a ByteBooks ID (it replaced the Adobe ID in 2026).
- Open the file in Adobe Digital Editions and copy it to the PocketBook.
