Do ebooks from booksellers.ca work on the Kobo Elipsa 2E in Canada?
Works, with extra steps
Yes, with a computer. The store's ebooks come either with Adobe copy protection or with a watermark, and it lists Adobe Digital Editions as the way to put both on a Kobo.
- Install Adobe Digital Editions on a computer and sign in with a ByteBooks ID (it replaced the Adobe ID in 2026).
- Download the book (an .acsm file for protected books) and open it in Adobe Digital Editions.
- Connect the Kobo by USB and drag the book onto it.
